Report about conducted researches of BAC (washing probiotics) usage in hospital environment

 

A breakthrough in reducing hospital bacteria!

Wide range clinical survey shows that new generation of cleaning products effectively manages different hospital bacteria. During few months of survey lowering of the number of MRSA and other pathogens in average on 80% in comparison with traditional processing and disinfection. These new cleaning products must provide real alternative to disinfectants, inducting stability.

Super stability to antibiotics

In last years governments of all countries have lawfully put in motion campaigns, not approving/preventing usage of antibiotics. Resistance among pathogens to these agents has reached great values, transforming numerous infectious diseases into almost incurable diseases. Objectively important consequences of resistance of these pathogens, which has risen to used nowadays processing and disinfection agents. These agents can be seen as “antibiotics” for environment, similarly as “real” antibiotics are meant for patients. Resistance to these disinfectants causes serious problems in maintenance healthy environment of patient, aimed on preventing generalization of disease.

Microbial management

The aim of conducted clinical trial is to give a mark for new concept of microbial management. It means a turn from common and unconditional sterility, and creation instead of it stable and safe microbial environment. Thus disinfection can be limited to situations, in which it is absolutely essential. This will lower biocide pressure on pathogens, as a result will be lowering of resistance among these organisms, subsequently leading to more effective usage of disinfectants, when it is necessary.

Cleaning with washing probiotics

For realization of concept of microbial management company has developed series of new products of BAC cleaning (washing probiotics) for usage in hospital environment, in which BAC supports the principle „probiotics in progress”. These products contain probiotical bacteria, which during the cleaning process absorb all left waste, thus transforming recolonization of processed/cleaned surfaces by some pathogens. To confirm correctness of these products, during some months in the hospital were conducted clinical survey. All microbial surveys were conducted by laboratory and expert company. These clinical surveys were approved y ethics committee and has lead to several outstanding discoveries.

In comparison with usual chemical processing/disinfection, both controlling, with processing with BAC, the following effects were present:

  • Common number of bacteria stays the same;
  • Number of coliform bacteria (hygiene indicator): 50%;
  • Number of MRSA bacteria:- 80%;
  • Number of Clostridium bacteria: - 90%.

From this results can be seen that processing with probiotical cleaning products of new generation leads to such microbiota in the environment which stays previous by size/number, but contains much less per cent of pathogens. Probiotical BAC bacteria replace pathogens and create stable and healthy microbial environment in hospital.

Conclusion

Results, obtained during this clinical survey, demonstrate that new generation of probiotical cleaning agents is able to provide real solution in fighting against existing resistance, caused by chemical processing and disinfecting agents. Wise microbial management lets us to live in harmony with stable and healthy society, in which sterility is essential only in limited number of cases.

Data:

1. Number of MRSA on the ground of hospital during clinical survey. The period of BAC Healthcare processing usage is shown in the green frame. Outside this frame the period of usual chemical processing and disinfection is presented. Termination of processing with BAC Healthcare has lead to MRSA relapse.

2. MRSA number in central hall of ground floor (control floor, with chemical processing and disinfection) and second floor (processing with BAC Healthcare). 1.day gives MRSA data immediately before processing with BAC. Despite the less favourable start position 2nd floor, undergone treatment with BAC clearly demonstrates lower MRSA indicators.
